Attempted Murder / Burglary

Troy Police responded to a reported burglary in progress Monday morning at approximately 2:00 am on Martha George Hall Drive according to information released by Chief Jimmy Ennis.
A black male suspect wearing a ski mask and armed with a firearm ordered the couple back into their bedroom at gunpoint.
The suspect in this case is identified as Thomas White III, a 21-year-old black male from Enterprise. White used force to gain entry into the residence by kicking in the front door. He was armed with a firearm when he made entry.
When officers arrived on scene they made contact with one of the homeowners who advised police that her husband was holding the suspect down in the living room. Police handcuffed the suspect and called for medical assistance and ambulances were dispatched to the scene. The victims and White were transported to Troy Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
The victims had several cut wounds on them. None of their injuries were considered to be life threatening. White had injuries to his back and legs. At the time of this release he is in the TRMC Intensive Care Unit.
Arrests warrants have been obtained for White’s arrest. He has been charged for one count of burglary 1st degree, two counts of robbery 1st degree and two counts of attempted murder. His bond has been set $100,000.00 in each case. ($500,000.00)
The motive for this crime is robbery.
TPD Detectives have obtained arrest warrants on two accomplices who are also involved in this case. They are identified as Parrish Bean a black male and Deanna McLeod a black female, both 20-years-of –age from Troy. They have each been charged for one count of burglary 1st degree, two counts of robbery 1st degree and two counts of attempted murder. Their bonds have been set at $100,000.00 in each case. ($500,000.00 each)
This case remains under investigation by the Troy Police Department.
