Burglary

Troy Police responded the burglary of an occupied residence Sunday at approximately 9:30 p.m. in Southland Mobile Home Park according to Chief Anthony Everage.

Police report that a black male entered the mobile home armed with a handgun.

The victim's dog responded to the threat of the suspect and was shot one time by the suspect, killing the dog. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was last seen running toward Butler Drive.

The suspect is reported to be5'9"-5'10" tall and is of medium build in size. He was dressed in black pants and a black jacket with a gray hood.

This case is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department.
