Troy Police arrested 22 year old Curtis Monroe of Troy for discharging a firearm in the city limits Monday at approximately 6:00 p.m. on Pike Street in Troy according to information released by Chief Anthony Everage.

Monroe and another subject allegedly got involved in an altercation on Pike Street when a firearm was discharged into the air. The motive why the altercation occurred is robbery according to Troy Police. No one was injured in the incident.

This case is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department.
