Criminal Surveillance

Troy police are investigating an alleged criminal surveillance incident at a local restaurant in Troy according to information released by Chief Anthony Everage.

A customer at the restaurant told police she found a cell phone in the women's restroom at the restaurant Wednesday night (April 20) at approximately 9:30 p.m. She reported the incident to police Thursday (April21) at approximately 1:30 p.m. and turned the cell phone over to police.

TPD is having the cell phone forensically analyzed to determine what is on the phone and who the possible owner of the phone is.

Police would not disclose specific information about the incident so it will not jeopardize their ongoing investigation.
