Troy Police arrested Tripp Dennis Freeman, a 20-year-old white male, Thursday for sodomy 1st degree in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred in 2007 according to information released by Chief Anthony Everage.

The victim in this case was a minor child.

This arrest stems from a harassment complaint on May 7th and subsequent arrest of Freeman on May 11th.

This case is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department. Due to the fact this case is still under investigation and there may be other victims involved, the department would not comment further.

Freeman was transported to the Pike County Jail. His bond has been set at $50,000.00.
