Troy Police responded to a reported armed robbery and burglary Friday morning at approximately 9:00 AM at a mobile home at Suntrace Mobile Home Park on US Highway 231 south of Troy according to information released by Chief Jimmy Ennis.

An unknown black male entered the occupied mobile home and confronted the resident and demanded money from the victim with a weapon.

The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and other personal property belonging to the victim. He was last seen wearing a red jacket and blue jeans. His physical description is reported as being 6' tall and weighing approximately 185 pounds. His direction and mode of travel is unknown.

TPD Detectives continue to follow-up on leads developed during the investigation. Police would not comment on the specific details of the investigation because the case is still under investigation by TPD.

Chief Ennis asks anyone who was in the vicinity of Suntrace Mobile Home Park today at approximately 9:00 AM and may have information in connection with this incident is urged to contact the Troy Police Department at 566-0500 or the Secret Witness Line at 566-5555.
