Troy Police responded to a one car motor vehicle collision with a building that resulted in injury Thursday at approximately 1:15 A.M. on US Highway 231 at Wendy's Hamburgers according to information released by Chief Jimmy Ennis.

The driver has been identified as Adam Colley Johnston, a 23-years-old white male from Troy. Johnston was the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck. There were no passengers in the vehicle.

The vehicle struck the corner of the business and a pole before it came to rest.

Johnston was transported to Troy Regional Medical Center's Emergency Room for treatment of injuries he received in the collision.

Alcohol is a possible factor in this collision and police have submitted evidence to forensic science for analysis.

This motor vehicle collision is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department.
